What we treat
Upper-limb rehabilitation covers pain and limitation of the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand, whether following trauma, surgery or a gradual onset. Neck pain, which is often associated, is treated at the same time.
- Shoulder rehabilitation: rotator cuff tendinopathy, frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis), subacromial impingement, instability and dislocation, post-surgical recovery
- Cervical spine: neck pain, cervicobrachial neuralgia, torticollis, stiffness and tension, cervicogenic headache
- Elbow rehabilitation: tennis elbow (epicondylalgia), post-traumatic stiffness
- Rehabilitation after upper-limb surgery: shoulder replacement, rotator cuff repair, fracture fixation
- Hand and wrist rehabilitation
Our approach
The initial assessment identifies the source of pain and the movements that are limited. Rehabilitation combines recovery of range of motion, progressive strengthening, stability work and a return to everyday, work and sporting movements, guided by current scientific recommendations.
