Sports physiotherapy and return to sport

Sports physiotherapy supports recovery after an injury and builds a progressive return to activity, tailored to your sport, your level and your goals.

Why see a sports physiotherapist?

A sports injury is not over when the pain stops: strength, stability, confidence and the specific qualities of your discipline must be recovered before you return. Care is adapted to your sport, level and goals, from recreational to competitive.

  • Sprains (ankle, knee, wrist)
  • Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL): pre-operative preparation and post-operative rehabilitation
  • Tendinopathies (Achilles, patellar, shoulder)
  • Shoulder instability and dislocation
  • Muscle injuries
  • Rehabilitation after surgery

Return-to-sport conditioning

Between the end of standard rehabilitation and the return to competition, return-to-sport conditioning progressively rebuilds physical qualities: strength, power, endurance, change of direction and sport-specific movements. Objective criteria, rather than the calendar alone, guide the decision to return.

The practice has a fully equipped training area for this: squat rack, leg press, leg extension, cable pulleys, weight bench and dumbbells, bike and treadmill.

Combat sports and running

The practice welcomes combat-sport athletes and runners in particular, with attention to the specific demands of each discipline. A running analysis can complement a runner's rehabilitation.
