Why consult?
Pelvic floor problems in men are common yet rarely discussed. They often follow prostate surgery but can also occur without any operation. Targeted rehabilitation clearly improves continence and quality of life in most cases.
- Urinary leakage and incontinence in men
- Rehabilitation after prostatectomy or other prostate surgery
- Male sexual dysfunction treated with physiotherapy
- Pelvic and perineal pain
How does rehabilitation work?
Rehabilitation begins with an assessment to set shared, achievable goals. The work is progressive, personalised and at your own pace: awareness and strengthening of the pelvic floor muscles, coordination with breathing and everyday exertion, lifestyle advice and exercises to continue at home.
Sessions take place in a private treatment room, in a respectful and confidential setting. When rehabilitation follows surgery, it can start before the operation to prepare for recovery, then resume as soon as your surgeon agrees.
